What is self storage?
Self storage is a service that offers both residential and business users access to individual storage spaces. The spaces are designed to be clean, dry, and private; only the customer has a key to the space.
What does it cost?
The cost of storage depends on the size of the space you need (or want)! Our storage consultants are always happy to help you determine the correct size, as well.
Are there any additional costs?
We have a $10 Administrative fee. We just ask that you return the space the way you found it – swept and free of debris. Insurance is an extra cost, if you should choose to purchase it. It is entirely optional.
Do I need insurance?
Diamond Self Storage offers our customers insurance on their stored items, in collaboration with Deans and Homer Company. Please ask for details.
How can I pay?
Diamond Self Storage has several payment options. We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover in person or over the phone. Of course, you can always stop by the store and pay by cash, check, or card, or just mail us a check. We also have automatic billing on a credit or debit card that will charge on the 1st of every month.
How do I cancel my lease?
We like to have a 15 day notice that you will be vacating your unit. The unit must be vacated by the last day of the month.
What kind of security is there?
We have 24 hour video surveillance. We are fenced and gated. You’ll have a keypad code that records in our computers each time you enter and exit the property. We have staff onsite 24 hours a day.
What’s the minimum time I can store for?
We offer month to month or longer leases at 6 months to 1 year. One month is the minimum.
When can I access my storage space?
Diamond storage gives you access to your unit 24 hours a day 7 days a week

Can I buy boxes and other packing products from Diamond Self Storage?
Yes. Diamond Self Storage offers a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies.
What is climate control?
Climate control is a feature that we offer. Our climate controlled units maintain a temperature of 55 to 75 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.
What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.
Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?
You can purchase a new lock at Diamond Self Storage. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks and recommend purchasing a disc lock to ensure the highest level of security.
What is a drive-up unit?
A drive-up unit is an outside unit, located on the first floor of a facility that gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
An outdoor unit has access from outside. An indoor unit is within the property and will require you to go inside to access your unit.
